Many business owners are on-the-go; balancing life, business, social calendars, networking, etc. I am a huge proponent of organization and while I clutch my Financial Times Desk Diary all too often — I’ve found a simple, fresh way to organize my time.

30boxes.com is likely the best web calendar application I’ve found. It’s clean user interface allows you to maneuver with ease, add social network feeds from Twitter, Blogger, Facebook, and WordPress. When making an appointment you add invitees and it automatically sends an email invite to alert the recipient. This is a great tool to help your virtual staff keep on task.

The website can also translate a phrase into an event, determining the location, time, date, and description. You can also add buddies and share calendars. 30 Boxes features a simple webtop, which summarizes daily appointments and to-do items. My favorite part — this app will send an auto reminder to your email address for any event/task scheduled.

In a list of the best web-based calendar software for small businesses, Forbes ranked 30 Boxes second, after Google Calendar. I could name 30 reasons why I love this free service – seriously. Check it out and let me know what you think.
