4. Do you outsource business tasks?

a. Do-it-Yourself: You don’t outsource anything.

b. Go-it-Alone: You cost effectively harness support infrastructures, spend your time finding resources that streamline your business, and magnify your core competence to grow your business; not by hiring, but by outsourcing.

As you can see from the examples above, there are distinct advantages in shifting your business from an employee mindset (doing it yourself) to a “go-it-alone” model that enhances your access to resources, increase profitability and free-up time to focus on your core competencies.

If you’re running your business with an employee mindset it’s possible that you have not thought about growth, systems and outsourcing because you like working for yourself. If you’re a go-it-alone entrepreneur you’re different, because you’ve thought about growth, systems and outsourcing because you like working for yourself, too.
