Coaching women and helping others turn their passions into successful businesses was hugely gratifying for me. My love of writing and blogging shifted subject matter, but if anything, as a coach I had more writing subjects than ever before. Perhaps the best part was this: once I quit my day job I had the freedom to travel the world and work from anywhere.

‘No Matter What’ Business Plan

In 2014, I traveled every month out of the year. I’m on pace to break that record this year. Speaking of records, I’ve shattered every record I’ve set for myself for generating revenue.

Who needs Kim Kardashian (or another celeb endorsement)? I didn’t and neither do you. In choosing myself, I took on a new mantra: No matter what.

No matter what, I would stay out of my own way. I would no longer let insecurities about creating a personal brand (and even sharing vulnerabilities like my “Kim Kardashian business plan”) stop me from going after what I wanted.

No matter what, I would take the driver’s seat on all business decisions. Looking back, friends and family members tried giving me advice that would have held me back. They were only reflecting my own lack of confidence.

Once I projected self assurance about becoming an entrepreneur, they were fully supportive. Now that they’ve seen what I’m capable of, creating a successful coaching business where I’m earning $27K in one month, everyone is on board with my “no matter what” attitude.

Business Of Blogging, Lessons Learned

No matter what, I decided to drop the excuses. It’s too easy to decide your perceived lack of money, education, time, experience, or qualifications are justification for not achieving your desires. Once I stopped limiting myself when it came to money and success – everything changed.

If you had told me back in 2011 that my blog would have been the start of a journey toward owning a completely thrilling coaching business where I get to work with amazing women all around the world (and be on pace to earn seven figures this year alone) I think I would have fainted.

So, my question for you is this: Are you on the journey or is your current career the destination? If you feel limited in any way I think you already know the answer.

So, what are you going to do to make yourself a success no matter what?
