Forum will look at strategies and resources that can boost small business owners

Washington, D.C.—FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE—Washington Post Live, the live journalism division of The Washington Post, will host “Powering Small Business,” a discussion with small business owners and experts that will explore ways to revitalize small businesses.

The forum will take place during National Small Business Week at The Washington Post on Wednesday, May 23 at 8:30 am ET.

The event will feature a variety of small business leaders including Karen Gordon Mills, the Administrator of the Small Business Administration, and the founders of Georgetown Cupcake, Sophie LaMontagne and Katherine Kallinis, who also star in “DC Cupcakes,” a series on TLC.

“We’re delighted to host this discussion. This is a chance to hear big ideas about small business,” said Mary Jordan, Editor of Washington Post Live.
