8. Live in the fast lane in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX

Live life in the fast lane at Exotic Driving Experience. Choose from several exotic cars, including models by Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, and Nissan, and burn rubber on the Texas Motor Speedway. Exotic Driving Experience offers a 6-lap driving experience with additional lap upgrades available, as well as 2-lap ‘Thrill Rides” where you ride shotgun with a professional. Drives range from $169-419.

9. Sail in Washington, DC

DC Sail located in Southwest Washington, D.C., a community-based non-profit sailing program, offers sailing lessons, rentals, cruises, and racing lessons. Membership is $150 per year, which includes fleet rentals and free lessons. Non-members can participate in sailing activities for $10.

10. Fly high in Atlanta, GA

Prestige Helicopters, Inc. has been offering aerial tours over Atlanta for over 28 years. Guides soar over the Atlanta skyline, featuring some of the city’s best sites, such as Downtown, Buckhead, Stone Mountain and the Chattahoochee River. Prestige also offers aerial photography opportunities as well as helicopter piloting lessons. Tours range between 10-70 minutes and cost between $65-325 per tour, depending on the package.

11. Bonus: Tackle the Trapeze in Detroit, MI

Aerial yoga anyone?! It’s one thing to watch Cirque du Soleil, but it’s entirely another to test out your acrobatic aerial skills. If you enjoy performance arts, head on over to Detroit Flyhouse Circus School to get training (or just have fun) in aerial silks, trapeze, aerial rings, partner acrobatics, fire performance and aerial yoga. Weekly classes are available for three periods starting at $120.
