charity: water is a non-profit organization that brings clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. The organization utilizes 100% of their donations to directly fund water projects in the field. They cover their operating expenses via private donors, foundations and sponsors. 2. GirlUp

GirlUp is uniting girls to change the world. Girl Up is a United Nations Foundation campaign that gives American girls the opportunity to become global leaders and channel their energy and compassion to raise awareness and funds for United Nations programs that help some of the world’s hardest-to-reach adolescent girls. 3. Invisible Children

Invisible Children seeks to bring awareness to the activities of the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) in Central Africa, and its leader, Joseph Kony.
