How We Got Started:
As students at the University of Illinois, my twin brother Ryan and I became frustrated with the ticket-buying process for on-campus events. There was no way to buy tickets online, so individuals had to purchase tickets directly from the event organizer, from the ticket office, or at the door. Realizing that other students shared our frustration, we developed the concept for our new business, UTicketIt.
UTicketIt.com integrates all the tools to create an event, manage event registration, accept payments, collect donations for a fundraiser, prints tickets, spreads the word about events through social media using Facebook, Twitter, and email, to help organizations sell out their next event. It enables organizations to manage the whole process quickly and easily.
